Document Composition

BelWo has a rich experience in composing documents across different industries. We have worked on Statements, Invoices, Postcards, Direct Marketing Brochures, Insurance Booklets, Forms, EOBs, Checks etc.. The composition data is monitored, balanced and reports are generated along with the composition output. We also generate US postal paperwork using third party tools and add the IMBs during composition.

Data Inputs: BelWo has composed documents ranging from single data input to a multiple data input complex documents. We have also worked with encrypted data and multiple file inputs. Following are the general data inputs that we work on:

• XML (Structured/Unstructured)
• Fixed Length Text Input
• CSV
• ODBC
• PDF/Post Script/AFP
• Web Service/API Calls

Data Transformation: We restructure/format/transform the input data using .Net and GMC tools. They are mix of simple and complex transformations.

• Calculation of the discounts, taxes, total amount due
• Variable/Conditional Messages
• Names/Address/Date/Time Formatting
• Linking multiple Data inputs
• Querying different databases and/or stored procedures for values
• Adding piece level GUID for individual mail piece tracking
• Creating and managing conditional logic processing

External Process Integration: We have integrated various third party tools in our workflows for external processing such as CASS Reporting, Postal Data Sorting, Presorting.

Layout: We work very closely with our customer’s marketing departments to realize their graphical vision into finished statements and mailers. Various graphical formats that we have worked with includes Adobe Illustrator (.ai), Adobe Photoshop (.psd), Corel Draw (.Cdr), Adobe PDF

Each big mailing has a ton of business rules that needs to be incorporated in the composition workflows. We have worked with:

• Splitting files in smaller sizes for optimal printer utilization (batch of 5000)
• Geographical based splitting of files
• Content Selection in different languages (English/Spanish/French)
• Conditional messages for different states
• Conditional Statement templates for different violation reasons
• Generating Certified Letters
