BelWo Conducts Placement Drive at RIMT

The leading US based IT & ITES solutions provider BelWo conducted a placement drive for the students of RIMT Mandi Gobindgarh at institute premises.

The placement drive received an overwhelming response from the students seeking industrial training with the leading multinational IT Company. The occasion was marked with a welcome speech in the honor of team BelWo. Rasneet Kanwar, guiding light and COO of BelWo was accompanied by Poonam Rajora (HR Incharge), Ramanpreet Singh (QA Manager) and Gurjeet Singh (Web Developer). Other prominent people present at the event were Harmeet Singh, TPO of the RIMT with the Director and Principal of the institute.

Later, Rasneet Kanwar delivered a speech to give students an insight into the bright and competitive information technology world. Rasneet told students how industrial training at BelWo could help them shape their career for a bright future.

Twenty one (21) students were short listed on the basis of their score in the intensive Technical test conducted by the experts from BelWo. The management students were also given an opportunity to exhibit their sales and marketing skills and knowledge. Based exclusively on performance parameters twenty four (24) management students were also short listed. The short listed students will now move on to next stage of the stringent BelWo selection procedure.

The placement drive at RIMT by BelWo is to give budding engineers and managers the right exposure and the knowledge they will require to make it big in the highly competitive IT sector. Most of the students had their first experience of an interview with an organization of the repute as BelWo. The students also got a glimpse of what they should expect when they come in contact with the outer professional world.
